Planning a purchase with Delta in the next couple of months?  Good news!

American Express is offering some folks the chance to save up to 20% off Delta purchases for things like tickets, upgrades, change fees, baggage fees, and more!  You should be able to even use this offer to potentially save on the taxes and fees on one of Delta’s amazing discounted award flights, like 32,000 mile round-trip flights to Europe!

Saving Cash for a Delta Flight Doesn’t Get Much Easier Than This

You’ll have to sign-in to your AMEX online account to see if you qualify.  If you’re eligible, just add the deal to your card.  Good deals like this never seem to last long, so act quickly if you think you’ll benefit from this savings!

After the offer is added to your card you’ll need to spend $300+ in combined purchases with Delta by January 1, 2019, to get the $60 statement credit.  That’s a great deal just for paying with the right card!

Were you targeted for this offer on any of your AMEX cards?  If so, do you plan on taking advantage of the deal?  I sure would!

I’ve read that this works with Delta gift cards. Is that confirmed?

Hi LZ,

I didn’t see anything in the fine print specifically excluding gift cards, and it seems they only reference making a qualifying purchase through the delta website for the most part…so it would appear that would count as a qualifying purchase.

I wasn’t targeted for this offer though so I can’t say for sure.
