Now here’s an easy deal!  Chase is sending out offers to earn 1,500 bonus Ultimate Rewards points for folks who use Samsung Pay 3 times by December 31, 2018.

But the best part?  There’s no minimum amount for your purchases!  So if you got this targeted deal, you could spend a buck 3 times and score a nice amount of points.  Right now, we see this offer for the Chase Freedom Unlimited card, but it might include other Ultimate Rewards-earning cards.

We don’t hear bout many deals for Samsung Pay, especially with terms this easy to meet.

And if you have a premium Chase card, like the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card or Ink Business Preferred Credit Card, you can combine all your points and send them to Chase’s excellent travel partners!

Chase and Samsung Pay Make It Easy to Score 1,500 Ultimate Rewards Points! Just Pay 3 Times for Any Amount

Here’s more about this deal!

Targeted:   Use Samsung Pay 3 Times for 1,500 Chase Ultimate Rewards Points

We love easy ways to earn valuable Chase Ultimate Rewards points.  And it doesn’t get much simpler than this offer!

If you got an email from Chase, you can use Samsung Pay for 3 purchases with your linked Chase card to earn 1,500 Ultimate Rewards points.  Just be sure to pay with the card mentioned in the email, and complete the offer by December 31, 2018.

Terms of the Chase Samsung Pay Deal Are Super Easy

I value Chase Ultimate Rewards points for 2 cents each, so 1,500 points are worth ~$30 (1,500 X .02).  If you can knock it out in one shot by making 3 small purchases in a row, that would be worth it!

The best part of this promotion is there’s no minimum amount for each purchase – so you could spend $1 three times and earn the bonus points.

We aren’t sure if other Chase cards are included, but it looks like Chase is targeting folks who already linked their Chase cards within Samsung Pay.  So it’s worth checking your email and adding your Chase cards to Samsung Pay so you might be targeted for deals like this in the future!

We see a lot of deals for Chase Pay (subscribe to our newsletter so don’t miss out on the next one), but not as many for Samsung Pay.  And with holiday shopping in full swing, this is a nice treat.

Don’t forget, you can combine Chase Ultimate Rewards points and send them to transfer partners like British Airways and Hyatt if you have one of these cards:

That makes this deal even better, because you can get that much closer to your next award trip.

Did you receive this email?  If so, let us know which card is linked to your Samsung Pay promotion!

Does this apply to all Chase customers with the Freedom Unlimited card or is it only to select customers who received this email and banner?

Does it require a minimum amount to be purchased for each transaction?

Hi David!

There is no minimum amount per purchase, but it’s only for select customers as this is a targeted offer.

The article is misleading. It should say at the very beginning that this only applies to Chase customers who received an email regarding this promotion. It sounds so exciting, but then I (and others) realize it’s meaningless to them since they didn’t get an email.

In my opinion, that’s not fair to all Chase customers. Because someone uses their Chase Pay app more (or less) often than I do gives them the opportunity of receiving free points?

Hi David!

I feel the same way as you. I hardly get excited when I read something about a targeted deal (we did mention this was a targeted deal in parantheses in the title of this article) because I’m almost never chosen to be a part of that special, select group.

I don’t know what algorithms or criteria they use, but whatever criteria is being used, I clearly don’t meet it 99% of the time.
