I’ll show you how it works!

I’ve been posting a lot about this offer because it has only come around ONCE per year for the last 4 years and has never gone higher!
Be sure to read about how to redeem Starwood points for award stays.
What Are SPG Moments?
Link: SPG MomentsSPG Moments are 1 more way you can redeem Starwood points. But what’s special about SPG Moments is that some of them can’t be bought anywhere else!
Some of the experiences include VIP tickets to events, chances to meet your favorite sports heroes, or seats at special live concerts.
You can use Starwood points to buy SPG Moments at a fixed price, or at an auction.
The fixed price options are 1st-come, 1st-served, but the auctions have deadlines. Like any auction, the prize goes to the highest bidder.
If you don’t find any SPG Moments that interest you, be sure to check back because new experiences are added often!
Some of My Favorite SPG Moments!
I haven’t done all of these, but they look very tempting! My favorite way to redeem Starwood points is with Cash & Points, which is another way to create lifelong memories!
1. Golf With Choo Tze Huang in Singapore
I’ve written about sports-related SPG Moments.
For 25,000 Starwood points, you’ll get a golf lesson and dinner with a golf pro. You’ll stay at the W Singapore – Sentosa Cove, a Starwood Category 6 hotel where an award night in October costs 20,000 Starwood points.
For 5,000 more points, you’ll get an amazing experience you can’t get anywhere else!
2. Las Vegas Concerts
These particular experiences have sold-out already, but they’re great examples of events offered by SPG Moments, and are typical of what to expect when you redeem your points this way.
For 10,000 Starwood points, you can get 2 premium tickets to see Celine Dion in Las Vegas.
This option tends to sell out quickly, so keep an eye out for more opportunities to see this show, and many others.
You can also get 2 tickets to Elton John’s Las Vegas show for 10,000 Starwood points. I’m a fan, so I’ll have to consider this!
3. Cirque du Soleil Tickets
This recently sold-out as well, but it’s a great example of the phenomenal value you can sometimes get with SPG Moments!
If you like fun theater, you can get 2 VIP Cirque du Soleil tickets for 7,500 Starwood points.
With this SPG Moment, you get to attend a special pre-show VIP event with canapes and drinks. Then you’ll sit near the stage to see all the acrobatics close-up!
I looked up 2 VIP tickets to the show featured on SPG Moments, and found it would cost $580 if you paid cash!
If you love live theatre, this is a fantastic way to use your Starwood points for a memorable experience AND save a lot of money!
4. SPG Moments Auctions
In addition to experiences you can buy outright, there are others you can bid on, auction-style.
The SPG Moments you can bid on tend to include more personalized experiences. I found auctions for:
- Premium tickets and a cast meet-and-greet for “Something Rotten” on Broadway in New York
- Grounds access to the Presidents Cup golf event in Incheon, South Korea
- A special concert and piano lesson with Jamie Cullum in Mexico City
- And many others!
The opening bids are very reasonable!
There are lots of options, and if you find 1 you like, SPG Moments are a great way to make lifetime memories. Because a lot of them you can’t find (or buy) anywhere else!
Bottom LineSPG Moments are a wonderful way to use your Starwood points for priceless experiences and fun memories.
You can see live theater, concerts, and attend sports events all over the world. New moments are added often, so keep an eye out.. Starwood features events and opportunities you can’t find anywhere else!
While you’re enjoying an SPG Moment, remember you can also redeem Starwood points for an award stay!
