Step-by-Step: How to Transfer Chase Points to British Airways

How to Transfer Chase Points to British Airways
Step 1. Know the Rules
You can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to British Airways directly at a 1:1 ratio with these cards:
- Chase Sapphire Preferred Card
- Chase Sapphire Reserve
- Chase Ink Business Preferred Credit Card
- Chase Ink Bold (no longer available)
- Chase Ink Plus (no longer available)
If you have the Chase Freedom, Chase Freedom Unlimited, or Chase Ink Business Cash Credit Card, you must combine points with one of the cards listed above to transfer to British Airways.
You can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to your British Airways account or the account of one member of your household (at the same address) who is an authorized user.
And if you have a Chase business card, like the Ink Business Preferred, you can transfer points directly into the British Airways account of an authorized user who is a joint business owner.
Note: Once you transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to British Airways, you can NOT transfer them back!Step 2. Log-In to Chase Ultimate Rewards
Sign-in to your Chase Ultimate Rewards account. Then, under the “Use Points” tab, select “Transfer to Travel Partners.”
Step 3. Enter Your British Airways Account Information
Next, scroll down the list of transfer partners, and click on the British Airways “Transfer Points” button.
Then, enter your name and British Airways account number.
Once you’ve added an account, the information will be saved for future transfers.
Step 4. Transfer Your Chase Ultimate Rewards Points
Enter the amount you want to transfer in 1,000 point increments. Typically, Chase points transfer instantly to British Airways.
Remember, once you transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points, you will NOT be able to get them back. So be sure to transfer only the points you need.
