Setting Up Your Priority Pass Membership App

When I traveled to Bangkok and Singapore a few years ago, I did not have airport lounge access. I had no place to relax or shower, and I felt like I paid an arm and a leg for food at the airport! It was like night and day when I finally got lounge access, and can’t imagine traveling without it today!

Here’s how you can set up the Priority Pass app on your phone in 2 easy steps!

Step 1. Download the App From Google Play or iPhone App Store

If you’re an iPhone or Android user, you can download the free Priority Pass mobile app by navigating to the Priority Pass app page on your smartphone.

You can also find the app by searching for “Priority Pass” in either the Google Play Store (for Android users), or the App Store (for iPhone users).

If You Prefer, You Can Also Download the Mobile App From the App Store by Searching “Priority Pass”

Step 2. Creating Your Priority Pass Account

Once the app has been downloaded to your phone, opening the app for the first time will bring you to the home page where you will have the option to either login to an existing account, or register as a new user.

If you’re a new user but do have a Priority Pass membership, click “Register Here”. You’ll need your membership number, after which you can then create a unique user name and password.

Note that if you have multiple Priority Pass memberships from different credit cards, you’ll have to use a separate login for each Priority Pass membership.

Handy Features of the Priority Pass Mobile App

The app really makes things really convenient for you as a Priority Pass member. You can locate the nearest lounge, figure out what amenities are available, see specific policies for various lounges, find out what food and drink offerings are available, and much more! Here are some of the features you can look forward to in the app.

Locating a Lounge

Finding your nearest lounge is easy. From the home screen in the app, you can type in either the airport code or the city. You’ll be given a list of airports, as well as which lounges you can access.

The wonderful thing about the app is that it also allows you to see the details of the lounges, like the hours of operation and amenities offered.

Accessing the Lounge

So now that you’ve located a lounge, how do you make sure you’ll have access when you arrive?

The Priority Pass mobile app provides you with a digital card. In most instances, this is all you’ll need to show to gain entry! Not all lounges accept digital cards though, so it’s still a good idea to carry your physical Priority Pass membership card with you just in case!

New! Save Money With In-App Offers/Discounts

One of the newer features in the Priority Pass app is the introduction of discounts and special offers to certain stores. Buying things at the airport tend to be a bit more expensive, so it’s a great way to save some money if you absolutely need to buy something!

To locate available offers, you’ll need to first select an airport. In the example below, I’ve selected the Tom Bradley International Terminal in Los Angeles (LAX).

If offers are available, you’ll see a separate section for “Retail Offers” or something similar. Clicking on the offer will show the specific terms and conditions.

To take advantage of the discount, you’ll need to generate a code on your phone and then present it to the retailer. It’s as simple as that!

Save Money at Priority Pass Restaurants!

As a Priority Pass member, you’re also entitled to a discount at participating Priority Pass restaurants. New restaurants are continually being added, and with the mobile app you’ll be able to see if there are any restaurants at your airport that qualify!

Indoor Airport Maps

Another cool feature you’ll find in the app is the availability of airport maps! If you’re like me and you find yourself frequently getting lost, this can really come in handy.

To pull up a copy of the maps, you can click “More” at the bottom of any screen in the mobile app, then find the drop-down menu for “Indoor Airport Maps”.
