Good news for folks collecting Hilton points! Hilton has released another promotion to help you earn award nights faster.
Until December 31, 2017, you’ll earn 500 bonus Hilton points when you book your stay through the Hilton app. Here are some things you should know:
- You must register for the promotion before you book your stay
- Points to NOT count towards elite status
- This promotion can be stacked with other Hilton promotions.
You will receive 500 Hilton points per stay. You will NOT earn 500 Hilton points per night if you book 2+ nights at a time. So you’ll get the maximum benefit from this promotion when you book 1 night at a time.
Is This a Good Deal?
Hilton points are usually worth ~0.5 cents each when you redeem them for hotel stays (though it’s possible to get more value!). So earning 500 Hilton points per stay is equivalent to ~$2.50.
An extra 500 Hilton points is NOT a reason to switch your stay from other hotels to Hilton. That’s because there are other decent hotel promotions right now, like:
500 Hilton points is worth about $2.50 when you redeem them for a Hilton hotel stay (though it’s possible to get more value). This promotion is NOT a reason to switch your hotel plans to Hilton. Though it’s nice for folks who were planning to stay with Hilton anyway!
And I like that this deal can be stacked with other Hilton deals, like the current “2K Every Day” promotion.
