So far, I have not been able to successfully register for the promotion , because the website is not responding.
This may be because of the many people trying to register at the same time, and I will try again tomorrow.Update: I managed to register successfully! I called to ask when the 500 bonus points would appear in my account, and was told that it would take 4 weeks. Bottom Line: This is worth the 5 minutes it will take to register for the promotion because you get free Hertz #1 Gold status worth $60 + the time saved by not having to wait at the airport and 1 free weekend rental day which may be worth $40+ for a total value of $100+!
