If you’re a family with small kids, traveling to Europe just got cheaper!
Via One Mile at a Time, SAS is letting children 11 years and younger fly to Scandinavia for just the price of taxes and fees! And once you’re in Scandinavia, it’s relatively cheap to hop to any other destination in Europe.

For a limited time, when you book flights to Scandinavia on SAS, children 11 and under will fly for only the price of taxes & fees (~$50). SAS had a similar promotion earlier this year. Here’s what you need to know:
- You must book by October 5, 2017
- Valid for travel between November 1 to December 19, 2017, and January 8 to May 31, 2018
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Limit 8 children per itinerary
SAS flies from:
- Los Angeles
- San Francisco
- Washington, DC
And flies to Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark. So kids will fly for nearly free on any round-trips between those cities!
For example, I found round-trip coach tickets for 1 adult and 8 children for a total of $1,516. That averages to just ~$168 per round-trip!
The deal also works for Premium Economy tickets that come with perks like extra legroom, bigger seats, free Wi-Fi, and extra baggage.
This SAS promotion is an especially good deal because it’s cheap and easy to jump from Scandinavia to other areas in Europe. So even if you aren’t interested in visiting the cities SAS serves, you can use miles or budget European airlines to reach the places you actually want to go!
And you can get the deal during Spring Break when kids are out of school!
With this latest promotion from SAS, up to 8 kids 11 and under can fly with an adult to Finland, Norway, Sweden, or Denmark, for only the cost of taxes & fees! This deal could save you lots of money if you’re traveling with a big family.
You must book your tickets by October 5, 2017, for travel between November 1 to December 19, 2017, and January 8 to May 31, 2018.
