We’ve listened carefully to your feedback.  And we’ve been working behind the scenes to update the look, feel, and organization of Million Mile Secrets!   This took much longer than I would have liked.

But it’s finally here. 🙂

When Emily and I launched Million Mile Secrets from our apartment in Kansas in 2011, only 35% of Americans owned a smartphone!

Nowadays it seems nearly everyone views websites from their laptop AND their phone.  So we’ve completely revamped our mobile site.

The previous mobile site was a pretty terrible experience, and that was my fault.

I’d tell y’all to check it out, but I have a feeling many of your are viewing this on your phone or tablet right now!

Big disappointment. The site is not clear/easy readable as the old one.
I don't like it!

The new design is DEFINETELLY better than an old one but there is still a long way to go...

The whole site doesnt look SOLID to me, meaning that there are a lot of parts...logo, credit cards, news but for some reason, it doesn't fit into a cohesive whole.

A few suggestions:
1. Try to re-organize site sections - Latest and hotest news should be up top. Maybe a good idea would be to add so called carousel for news display(Ex:https://www.starwoodhotels.com/preferredguest/index.html)
2. Style guide and color palette - not fully consistent across the site.
3. Work on micro-moments(interactions) on how to move from one section to another.
4. Hire someone to work on your pictures to make them more vivid, colorful and paradise like. Your users are overworked and looking for an escape. So give it to them in a most vivid format.
5. Think about adding videos somewhere to your site.
6. Make sure you dont duplicate information on your site. I see certain posts appear multiple times(ex: Babymoon trip...) Your website is like your real estate, so you have to use it efficiently.

P.S Not sure if you have a team but you need to hire UX(stands for user experience) expert to help you out.

Love the new look! I think it would be helpful if you had the Beginners Guide as a menu item at the top. It seems that if you are new to the site, this would be a really welcoming way to get readers engaged and coming back.

The mobile site looks great. It might be silly but when you open the menu bar, it takes a moment for it to open. Same thing when you press a section, it takes a moment for it to open up. Seems like there should be some way for it to be instantaneous. I'm on an iPhone 7 so I don't think it's me 🙂
