1.   Free Economy Plus Subscription on United Airlines (Targeted)

Via Reddit, some folks received an e-mail from United Airlines offering a complimentary Economy Plus subscription through January 31, 2017.  You’ll get a bigger Economy Plus seat near the front of the plane whenever there’s one available.

This subscription is usually $499 per year.  So check your junk folder just in case!

The targeted e-mail seems random with some people mentioning they have not flown United Airlines in a long time and others saying they recently got the Chase United MileagePlus® Explorer Card.

If you did receive the e-mail, it looks like you can use the subscription to change your seats on any upcoming United Airlines flights you have booked for no charge.

2.   Sign-Up for Hilton Gold Status With No Requirements

View From the Wing reports you can get Hilton Gold status through August 31, 2016, just for signing-up.  To keep Gold status for a year, you’ll need to stay 4 times between now and August 31, 2016.

Gold status gives you 25% bonus points for stays, room upgrades, and complimentary breakfast.

The promotion is targeted to a specific employer, but Hilton does not seem to be verifying.

3.   Discounted Gift Cards Through AMEX (Targeted)

Via View From the Wing, you can use AMEX Membership Rewards points to purchase certain gift cards for 25% off through June 27, 2016.

If you were targeted, you can log into the AMEX gift card site to see the eDelivery sale.

Discounted gift cards are available for Banana Republic, Home Depot, Pottery Barn, Victoria’s Secret, and many more.

A $100 gift card will cost 7,500 AMEX Membership Rewards points instead of 10,000 points.
