Good news for folks in Chicago!  Via One Mile at a Time, WOW Air is adding 4 weekly flights between Chicago and Iceland starting July 13, 2017.  One-way fares start at $99!

And you don’t have to stop in Iceland.  You can connect onward to many destinations in Continental Europe, like London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Berlin, from $149 one-way.

I flew WOW Air to Iceland had and a very good experience.  Plus, it’s nice to have more affordable options to get to Europe!

Starting July 13, 2017, WOW Air will fly between Chicago and Iceland 4 times per week.  Fares are as low as $99 one-way in September and October 2017.

Or pay as little as $149 one-way to fly onward to cities like:

  • Amsterdam
  • Barcelona
  • Berlin
  • Brussels
  • Copenhagen
  • Cork
  • Dublin
  • Edinburgh
  • Frankfurt
  • London
  • Paris
  • Stockholm

It’s great when discount airlines like WOW Air launch new routes, because it increases competition and can drive prices down.  That’s great for folks like us!

Just remember, WOW Air charges fees for things like seat selection, large carry-on bags, and checked bags.  So unless you can travel light, it’s worth comparing prices to make sure you’re getting the best deal.
