For ~1 month, Plastiq has been running a promotion handy for folks in the miles & points world.  You’ll be charged a reduced 1.75% fee when you pay rent or mortgage with a MasterCard!  But in order to qualify, you must follow these rules:

  • Schedule 6 or more payments, as far into the future as you’d like
  • Make sure those payments are for rent or mortgage
  • Use a MasterCard

There’s no need to register for the promotion.  Just follow the steps before September 30, 2016, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.

This is a great way to help folks meet minimum spending requirements, or just earn extra credit card rewards inexpensively.  You can even use cards like the Citi Double Cash Card, which earns 1% back on purchases and 1% back when you pay it off.  You’ll more than make up for the credit card fee, and even come out ahead!

Let me know if you take advantage of this offer!
