Six Flags has published their 3rd annual flash sale, which ends on September 5, 2016.

Season passes, which usually cost $170, are only $50.  And monthly memberships, usually ~$14, are only ~$4!

When you buy a 2017 season pass, you’ll get admission for the rest of 2016, too!  And when you buy during the flash sale you’ll get other perks, like:

  • Free upgrade to Gold Pass
  • Free parking in 2016 and 2017
  • Bring a friend for free on select dates
  • $300 worth of in-park discounts

You can use your Six Flags pass at lots of different parks, like Six Flags America, Baltimore/Washington DCSix Flags Fiesta Texas, San Antonio, and Six Flags Great America, Chicago.

Note:   You must pick up your passes or membership cards at your nearest park to receive the Gold Pass upgrade, free parking, and bonus Holiday in the Park or friend ticket.  Dates vary by location, so be sure to check before you purchase a season pass or membership.

There is also a private offer available to current season pass holders.

Pay With the Right Card!

Make sure to buy your passes with the right credit cards so you’re not leaving points on the table!

The Citi ThankYou Premier Card and Citi Prestige both offer 2X points for entertainment purchases like amusement parks.

I also recommend the Citi Double Cash, which earns 1% cash back when you make a purchase, and another 1% cash back when you pay off your bill.  Or the Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite MasterCard to earn 2.1% back toward travel purchases of $100+.

Let me know if you purchase season passes or a membership to Six Flags!

  1. If you signup on the Discover Card website, you can get 5% cash back at Six Flags and SixFlags.com. This isn’t automatically done though. You must enroll your card. If you have the double cashback offer from Discover Card you could end up with 10% cash back on this offer.

  2. 5% on Discover card and you are pushing Barclays Arrival + !!
