Do you have the Barclaycard US Airways card?
If so, your card will soon be switched to the Barclaycard American Airlines Aviator card. And to encourage you to use their cards, Barclaycard is offering a 50% bonus on miles (up to 10,000 miles) earned from spending with either card through June 30, 2015!
I’ll show you how to get in on this deal!
How to Earn 50% Bonus Miles
Step 1 – Sign-in
Log into your Barclaycard account. If you have more than 1 card on your account, make sure you select your US Airways card.
Step 2 – Register
Look for the offer in your account.
Then register by June 30, 2015.
Some folks have mentioned, if you don’t see this offer in your account, you should still be able to register (as long as your account is in good standing) by calling 866-419-0881.
Step 3 – Spend
Spend on your Barclaycard US Airways OR American Airlines card from through June 30, 2015, and you’ll earn a 50% bonus. You can earn up to 10,000 bonus miles.
The bonus miles should be credited to your account within 6 to 8 weeks after the promotion ends.
Note: You will NOT earn the bonus on miles earned from other promotions
The New Barclaycard American Airlines Cards
I’ve written about the Barclaycard US Airways card being switched to the new American Airlines card. You should receive your new card between April 1, 2015, and July 15, 2015.
Most folks will receive the Barclaycard American Airlines Red card. Some of the perks that come with this card include:
- 1st checked bag free for you and up to 4 traveling companions
- Priority boarding
- $100 flight discount after spending $30,000 in a calendar year
- 2X American Airlines miles on American Airlines & US Airways purchases
- 10% of redeemed miles back (up to 10,000 miles per year)
There will still be an $89 annual fee. Check out my full review for more details on this card.
Note: These cards will NOT be open to new applications. They are only available to folks who already have the US Airways card.
Again, the new cards will start being sent out starting on April 1, 2015, so there isn’t much time left to apply for the Barclaycard US Airways card (and earn the sign-up bonus) before it’s no longer available!
We don’t get a commission for this card, but Emily and I always tell you about the best deals!
And when you register for the promotion, you can earn 50% bonus miles (up to 10,000 miles) on spending with either card through June 30, 2015. This is a great deal and it only takes a few minutes to sign-up!
