Last Minute Travel Club
Link: Last Minute Travel Club
Last Minute Travel Club is a site with discounts on hotels, flights, and cruises. Contrary to the name, you DO NOT have to book your travel at the last minute, though the discounts could be better at the last minute.
Membership usually costs $50, but for a limited time you can get a free membership by using promo code “TURKEYSENTME”.
In my experience, the hotel prices are better than those found elsewhere. But the flight prices aren’t lower than elsewhere.
You have to be a member to access prices on Last Minute Travel Club. And you will not earn elite stay credit at hotels if you book via Last Minute Travel Club. Some hotels might give you elite benefits, but it varies with the hotel. But the discount could be worth giving up elite benefits.
You have to pay for your reservation in advance. And you have to cancel within 3 days of check-in (Disney hotels require you to cancel 5 days before check-in and National Parks require cancellation 21 days before check-in) or you will be charged 1 night.
You might have to wait 48 hours for your reservation to confirm as some rates are “on request.” This means that the hotel has 48 hours to accept or reject your reservation.
The terms say that you can choose to renew your membership in 1 year. But you still get access to the site if you don’t renew, though you can’t actually book travel.
Last Minute Travel Club may not have a large selection of hotels in certain cities. But I found a lot of choices while testing it out.

Enter your email address, create a password, and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
Step 3 – Enter “TURKEYSENTME” In Promo Code Field
You can enter your name, gender, and other information IF you want Last Minute Travel Club to send you “relevant offers.”
Or you can skip those fields and just enter “TURKEYSENTME” in the promo code box and click the “APPLY” button.
You’ll be signed up and taken to the Last Minute Travel Club homepage where you can start searching for deals!
Comparing Last Minute Travel Club Rates
A. Chicago – Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel
You would pay $134 a night booking through Last Minute Travel Club.
If you booked directly through Hilton, you would pay $173 a night or $40 more!
The extra $40 gets you breakfast for 2, free internet, discounted parking, and a 30% discount at the spa because of the special “Just Chillin” rate at the Hilton.
In this example, the special Hilton rate which includes breakfast and internet could be worth paying $40 more. But it really depends on your needs!
B. Chicago – Travelodge Chicago Downtown
If you just wanted to pay the lowest price in Chicago, you could book a night at the Travelodge Chicago Downtown for $81.
Booking directly through the Travelodge website, you would pay $104 or $23 more!
C. San Diego – Four Points by Sheraton Downtown San Diego
I also compared rates for March 1, 2014 at the Four Points by Sheraton Downtown San Diego.
You would pay $103 a night booking through Last Minute Travel Club.
You would pay $157 if you booked through the Starwood website or $54 more!
D. San Diego – Comfort Inn & Suites Hotel Circle
You would pay $57 a night on March 1, 2014 at the Comfort Inn & Suite Hotel Circle through Last Minute Travel Club.
The lowest rate you would pay booking through the Comfort Inn website is an advance purchase, nonrefundable rate of $81 or $24 more and you can’t make changes or get a refund!
E. Paris – Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile
You would pay $191 a night, including breakfast on July 19, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile through Last Minute Travel Club.
If you booked through the Hyatt website, you would pay $413 a night, without breakfast or $222 more!
All the rates I checked through Last Minute Travel Club were lower than booking directly through the hotel website, but your experience could be different.
It’s worth getting a free membership in Last Minute Travel Club so you have more options when making a hotel booking. The $50 membership fee is waived so you have nothing to lose!
You can get a free 1 year membership in Last Minute Travel Club when you use promo code “TURKEYSENTME”.
You do not earn elite stay credits but some hotels might give you elite benefits. And all rates are prepaid and there are strict cancellation policies.
So make sure to compare rates before you book to make sure you’re getting the best offer!
