For those of you that hate airport security lines, there is a great solution coming to your local community. You will now be able to get your TSA PreCheck interview done at Staples! For those that don’t live near an airport, this is a great solution.
A TSA PreCheck membership normally costs $85, but with the right credit card you can get the fee easily reimbursed.

TSA PreCheck at Your Local Staples
Right now, 30+ Staples across the country are taking appointments for TSA PreCheck interviews, with many more on the way! Check to see if your local Staples is participating here!
One of the largest pain points of TSA PreCheck is how hard it can be to complete your interview. Whether it be a distant interview location, or limited appointment times, many people have griped about the difficulty of getting it completed. My home airport is Salt Lake City, and I just saw the wait time is 6 months!
What Is TSA PreCheck? And This Global Entry Thing?
These programs are huge time savers! They are for travelers who have passed federal background checks. TSA PreCheck is recognized in the United States and will get you expedited security at certain airports.
A 5-year membership costs $85 for TSA PreCheck or $100 for Global Entry. And Global Entry includes all the same features as TSA PreCheck. So it makes sense to pay the extra $15, especially since you can get the fee reimbursed with any of these credit cards!
Trusted traveler programs, like these, are great! Outside of saving time (which is my personal favorite perk), they also help you avoid hassle. You won’t need to remove your shoes, belt, or jacket! And your laptop can stay in your bag. Plus, you can skip the controversial body scanners!
If time is your main concern, these programs are a no-brainer. Having TSA PreCheck could be the difference between making and missing your next flight!
I encourage all travelers to be a part of TSA PreCheck or Global Entry! The general rule of thumb is if you travel more than 4 times per year, it is worth it.
