Via One Mile at a Time, the Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite Mastercard sign-up bonus may be decreasing in a few days!

For the past year, the Barclaycard Arrival Plus has come with an increased sign-up bonus of 50,000 miles (effectively worth $525 towards travel purchases of $100+) after meeting minimum spending requirements.

But the regular bonus for this card is 40,000 Barclaycard Arrival miles.  So we’ll likely see the bonus drop back down to 40,000 miles.

We don’t earn a commission for this card, but we’ll do whatever we can to help you get Big Travel with Small Money!

If you’ve had your eye on the Barclaycard Arrival Plus card, you should apply soon!  Because in a few days, we might see the sign-up bonus drop.

The current sign-up bonus is 50,000 Barclaycard Arrival miles after spending $3,000 in purchases within the first 90 days of opening your account.

Barclaycard Arrival miles are worth 1 cent each, so the sign-up bonus is worth $500 in travel purchases of $100+.  But you ALSO get a 5% rebate on the points you redeem, essentially making the 50,000 point sign-up bonus worth $525.

That said, it’s likely to go down to 40,000 Barclaycard Arrival miles.  That’s only worth $420 on travel purchases of $100+ when you include the 5% rebate.

The great thing about this card is that it earns miles you can redeem to cover almost any travel-related purchase, including:

  • Airfare
  • Hotel stays
  • Taxis
  • Subway passes
  • Airbnb
  • Cruises
  • Train or rail tickets

There are some nuances to using Barclaycard Arrival miles, though, so make sure to read my review of the card!

Bottom Line

In a few days, the Barclaycard Arrival Plus sign-up bonus may fall from 50,000 Barclaycard Arrival miles to 40,000 miles after meeting minimum spending requirements.  So I recommend signing-up now if you’re interested!

Emily and I don’t earn a commission for this card, but we’ll always tell you about the best deals!
