Hilton’s popular buy points bonus is back on — and it’s just as generous as the previous month’s promotion.

You’ll receive a limited-time 100% bonus when you buy at least 10,000 Hilton points — this means you’re effectively purchasing Hilton points at half price. If you’ve been dreaming of a luxury getaway, or if you’ve already got hotel nights coming up, this could be away to dramatically reduce your out-of-pocket.

Hilton buy points promotion

You’ve got until December 28, 2019, at 11:59 pm Eastern Time, to receive a 100% bonus on Hilton points purchases of 10,000+ points. Normally, Hilton sells points for 1 cent each, so with this deal you can scoop them up for just 0.5 cents each.

You can buy up to 160,000 points with this promotion and receive a bonus 160,000 points. If you max out this deal, you’ll receive 320,000 points for $1,600. Hilton points value depends on which hotel you book, but but this can be a smart way to “pre-pay” for your upcoming travel at a big discount. For example, the Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi costs an average of $2,400 per night this coming spring — but it’s available for 120,000 points per night.

This is a new resort, and quite possibly the new crown jewel of the ultra-luxury Waldorf Astoria brand. With this promotion, you can purchase the 120,000 points you need for a free night for just $600, and save $1,800+ on the room rate.

And remember, any Hilton members with elite status (which you automatically receive if you have a Hilton credit card) will get the fifth award night free. You’d need to purchase 480,000 points for a five night stay at this hotel, but Hilton lets you pool points with anyone. You an a friend could both purchase points and combine them. If you purchased a total of 420,000 points, you’d spend $2,400. But you’d receive a stay worth $12,000! That’s like getting an 80% discount.
