Earn Bonus Points for Online Shopping With Marriott Rewards MORE
Link: Marriott Rewards MORE
It’s official. Marriott has its own online shopping portal!
Marriott used to have a shopping portal through the Shop My Way website, but they discontinued the ability to earn Marriott points earlier this year.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Use the Marriott Rewards MORE desktop extension, or the Android or iPhone app
- Earn 1,000 bonus Marriott points for making your first purchase of $25 or more
- You’ll earn 25% more Marriott points when you use your Chase Marriott Rewards personal or small business credit card
- You can redeem Marriott points, or a combination of cash and points to make purchases through the Marriott Rewards MORE portal
Starwood loyalty members can link their accounts to earn Marriott Rewards points while shopping with the app or desktop extension, too.
As y’all know, it’s becoming harder and harder to earn Starwood points. And Starwood does NOT have an online shopping portal. But because you can transfer Marriott points to Starwood at a ratio of 3:1, this is a welcome addition to the Marriott Rewards program!
There are currently only 29 merchants available through the Marriott Rewards MORE portal. But if you still have holiday shopping to do, it’s worth a look. Because you’ll find Amazon (where you’ll earn 1 Marriott point per $1 spent!), Apple, Best Buy, Gap, Macy’s and more!
Just in time for holiday shopping, Marriott has launched its Marriott Rewards MORE shopping portal! This is a great way to earn extra Marriott and Starwood points for purchases you might make anyway.
