IHG Cardholders & Platinum Members Get Discounted Points & Cash Bookings
Signing up for credit cards through partner links earns us a commission. Terms apply to the offers listed on this page. Here’s our full advertising policy: How we make money.
Here’s a way to save IHG points on an upcoming stay!
Via Frequent Miler, Chase IHG cardholders and Platinum elite status members can get a 12% discount on the cash portion of a Cash & Points booking! The discount is good for reservations made by September 18, 2016, for stays through November 30, 2016.
Saving money is always good news. But even better, with this promotion, you can “buy” IHG points for less to use for stays after the promotion ends!
I’ll show you how!
Save More With the New IHG Promotion

With IHG’s latest promotion, Platinum elite status members can get a 12% discount on the cash portion of a Cash & Points booking. The deal is for reservations made by September 18, 2016, for stays through November 30, 2016.
And because you get automatic Platinum elite status with the Chase IHG card, IHG cardholders can take advantage of this promotion too!
Plus, you can stack this promotion with the Cash & Points Trick to save even more when you buy IHG points!
“Buy” Points for Less
Normally, IHG sells points for 1.15 to 1.35 cents each. And you can buy IHG points for as little as 0.6 cents each with the IHG Points & Cash trick.
But if you combine the Points & Cash trick AND this promotion, you’ll pay even less for your IHG points!
Because when you book a hotel with Cash & Points and cancel your booking, you won’t get a refund on the cash portion. You’ll get to keep the points instead.
And you can use those discounted IHG points for stays after the promotion ends!
