Yesterday we let y’all know about the sub $600 round-trip lie-flat Business Class fares to Asia we were seeing.  When deals like this pop up, they’re never a sure thing.

But today we learned that Hong Kong Airlines WILL, in fact, be ticketing these crazy cheap fares.  So if you were able to snag a ticket, cheers to an amazing deal!

I’m Headed to Bangkok in February 2019 Thanks to an Amazing Flight Deal!

After writing about it, I hopped online to see if I could find any open seats that fit my travel schedule.  It took a lot of searching (anything that’s worthwhile is never that easy, right?), but I ended up booking 3 tickets from Los Angeles to Bangkok for just ~$611 a piece in February 2019.

I haven’t even begun to think about where we’ll stay, but I’m ecstatic that the booking was honored!  And I’ll definitely be sharing a trip report after my adventure.

Did you book a ticket with this deal?  If so, tell me where you’re headed!

Booked SFO to BKK for Nov-Dec! I mistakenly set the departure date for a Sunday though… I wonder if they’ll let me change my flight to Saturday

I was able to book 2 LAX>HKG>MNL (“J” fair) tix at $616.30…

Awesome! Happy travels!

Yup, I got in on the deal. Less than $700 from LAX to DPS (Bali) through HKG. I’ll add another $300 to get from the East Coast to LA on my normal carrier, and I will probably get upgraded. So $1000 for a RT ticket in biz. The next day the fare was up to over $7500. Great deal. Thanks.

Ahhhh Bali. Also on my list! So excited you were able to get in on it. 🙂

Do you know if I will be able to make changes to the return? I know there is a $200 change fee, but will there be a significant fare differential–to the normal fare?

Iggy – did you ever get around to doing this? I want to change my departure date but scared to call 😛

LAX BKK late September. Using Hilton Honors points for a 3 night stay at the Millennium Hilton Bangkok! Cheers to mistake fares!

Great to hear! I stayed at that hotel on my honeymoon, loved the views from the rooftop bar and the compilmentary water shuttle was fun.
