If you’re a Bank of America (or Merrill Lynch) debit or credit cardholder, you can get into certain museums and other cultural centers for free on the first full weekend of each month.
I’ll show you how you can get fee admission to places like The Henry Ford in Michigan and Chabot Space & Science Center in California.

With Bank of America’s Museums on Us program, you’ll get into participating museums and cultural centers for free with Bank of America (or Merrill Lynch) debit or credit cards like:
- Bank of America Alaska Airlines (Personal)
- Bank of America Alaska Airlines (Business)
- Bank of America Virgin Atlantic
Just show your card at the door along with a photo ID.
Free entry is only good for Bank of America or Merrill Lynch cardholders. So, if you’re visiting with other folks, they’ll need to bring their own eligible card or pay full price.
Note: Free admission does not necessarily mean you’ll have access to every exhibit in the museum. Some museums charge additional fees for different areas. So research your museum before you go!This is a great deal for families looking for educational fun, or folks who are traveling this weekend and looking for ways to save on entertainment.
If you’re in Oklahoma, you can go to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. And if you’re in Rhode Island, you can check out Blithewold, Mansion, Gardens & Arboretum.
Bottom Line
You can receive free admission to participating museums and other cultural centers this weekend if you have a Bank of America or Merrill Lynch debit or credit card! Check this list for a participating location near you.
