It’s that time of year again!  NFL pre-season is well underway, with the first regular season game on September 6, 2018.  And Marriott Moments is making it possible to “buy” tickets to some of these games using Marriott points.

Some of the packages even include a chance to kick a field goal or throw sideline passes before the game!  That sounds absolutely terrifying to me, but I’d be willing to bet some of y’all would consider it an experience of a lifetime.

Did You Know?  You Can Use Marriott Points for Tickets to a Number of Different NFL Games This Year!

You can check out the Marriott Moments page here to see which NFL game packages are still available for purchase.  Some of these deals cost a flat rate of 30,000 Marriott points, while others are being sold auction-style, with starting bids of 75,000 Marriott points.

For example, any die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fans out there?  You can bid on the chance to win 2 Lower Bowl tickets plus the opportunity to throw some pre-game sideline passes to watch last year’s Super Bowl champs warm up.  Bidding ends September 11, 2018, and the starting bid is 75,000 Marriott points.

I checked StubHub and found that tickets to this game in the Lower Bowl are going for $295+.  If you snagged this deal for 75,000 Marriott points (though bidding will likely go higher), that means you’d get a value of at least $590 for those points.

That’s not a terrible deal considering, or example, you’d pay 60,000 Marriott points to stay at a Category 7 Marriott hotel like the Cotton House Hotel, Autograph Collection in Barcelona.  Where nights consistently go for $500+.

If you paid more than 75,000 points for the package, you’re definitely “paying” for the experience.  And not necessarily maximizing the value of your points.  But hey, who’s to say a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity like this isn’t worth it?

Do any of these NFL Ticket Packages sound intriguing?
