Citi Prestige Applications Are Down – What’s Going On?

Signing up for credit cards through partner links earns us a commission. Terms apply to the offers listed on this page. Here’s our full advertising policy: How we make money.

Update: One or more card offers in this post are no longer available. Check our Hot Deals for the latest offers.

At some point today, the Citi Prestige application link stopped working.  Earlier this month there were rumors that the Prestige card was being discontinued or updated.  But Citi reached out and assured us that the card wasn’t being discontinued.

As of right now we can’t find any working Citi Prestige links (please let us know if you find one).  So it looks like something could be happening.

What’s Going on With the Citi Prestige Card?

We reached out to Citi and were given the following statement:

Our go-to-market strategy continuously evolves to feature different products and offers.  We remain committed to the Prestige product and servicing our valued existing cardmembers.  We look forward to reintroducing the card for new cardmembers in the near future.

So we know the card will be coming back and I’m hoping it means it’ll come back with a nice sign-up bonus.

The Citi Prestige card hasn’t had a sign-up bonus in while, but it does come with a slew of useful benefits like the 4th night free perk and Priority Pass access!

For now, the best way to earn Citi ThankYou points is with the Citi ThankYou® Premier Card.  It’s got an increased 60,000 Citi ThankYou point bonus after spending $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of opening the card.  Here’s our review of the Citi ThankYou Premier.

We’ll keep you updated if we hear anything new.
