Chase continues to innovate its credit card benefits. This time, it’s launched savings for those who like moving, but want to do so from the comfort of their home.

Chase adds Peloton benefits to Sapphire cards

Now, Chase Sapphire cardholders can receive up to $120 in statement credits for a Pelton membership. Peloton has risen in popularity since the outbreak of the pandemic as gym-goers continue to look for alternative workouts. Here’s what Sapphire cardholders will get:

  • Chase Sapphire Reserve® — Earn up to $120 in statement credits on Peloton Digital and All-Access Memberships through Dec. 31, 2021.
  • Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card — Earn up to $60 in statement credits on Peloton Digital and All-Access Memberships through Dec. 31, 2021.

Unfortunately, this credit will not work when purchasing Peloton equipment, like the stationary bike or treadmill. That being said, even if you don’t have one of these machines, the Peloton digital membership can still be useful. It offers thousands of live and on-demand classes, including indoor cycling, running, yoga, bootcamp, strength training, meditation and more. You don’t need any equipment to participate in these classes.

How to get your Peloton statement credits

It’s important to note that you will only get the statement credits when you pay for your membership directly through Peloton with a Chase Sapphire card. Memberships purchased through a third party (including the App store) will not qualify for the discount.

If you don’t have a Peloton digital or all-access account, you can register for one here.

Why now is a great time to get a Sapphire Card

And for those without a Chase Sapphire card, now’s a particularly amazing time to sign up for one. You can currently earn an increased sign up bonus with the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, which is offering 80,000 points after spending $4.000 in the first three months of account opening. Those 80,000 points are worth:

Additionally, an MMS writer recently purchased his Peloton bike with his Sapphire Reserve card, since it offers extended warranty coverage. Essentially, he turned Peloton’s one-year warranty into a three-year warranty just by paying with the right card. Read more about how this works here.
