Chase Pay is one of those services that allows you to effortlessly save money on purchases you were planning to make anyway.

If you have Chase credit cards like the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card and Chase Sapphire Reserve, you can make purchases with your cards through Chase Pay and receive certain kickbacks!  Currently, you can receive statement credits simply for buying a few meals from nearby restaurants.

Here’s how!

Chase Pay Is One Simple Change You Can Make to Your Life to Earn Extra Cash

How to Find and Redeem “Order Ahead” Offers Through Chase Pay

When you open your Chase Pay app and log into your account, you’ll see a snapshot of your recent activity.  Simply swipe left until you reach a page that says “Food for Thought.”  You’ll then see a link that will take you to a page displaying all the nearby merchants you can use Chase Pay at.

This page has 2 tabs at the top:  “Nearby” and “Order.”  Click “Order” to see all the local restaurants.  When you tap on a restaurant, you’ll see an “Offers” tab.  Tap that to find out your money-saving opportunities.  The deals will vary by restaurant.

Currently, the offers I’m seeing in my Chase Pay app are:

  • $5 off your first order (Offer ends December 31, 2018)
  • $10 meal credit after using Chase pay 3 times this month ($5 minimum spend per order.  Credit valid for 30 days.  Offer ends December 31, 2018)
  • $9 credit after spending $99
  • 1 free drink

Those are pretty great rebates just for making one simple change to your checkout process.

Just note that with Chase Pay, these deals will NOT work with tap and pay technology like Samsung Pay.  You’ll have to order ahead or check out in-store with a QR code.  Always be sure to read the offer details so you don’t miss an opportunity for free money!

Let us know if you have an offer I didn’t list!  And sign-up for our daily newsletter to ensure you don’t miss opportunities for easy cash wins like this in the future.

I don’t see an offers tab. Do you have a screenshot?

The security settings in Chase Pay wouldn’t allow me to take a screenshot. If you swipe over to the “Order Ahead” tab and click it you should see all the restaurants available. And if you click on a specific restaurant there is an “Offers” tab that has the specific deals for that location.

It looks like the offers are specific to each restaurant? Not just using chase pay across a variety of restaurants. In other words, I’d need to eat at that one restaurant 3 x to get the bonus. That’s how it looks to me when I open the app

I wasn’t sure about that either, but I think you might be right. Although I do see that offer for every restaurant that’s available to me.

The $10 credit we mentioned in this post was only targeted to specific restaurants in my app (Five Guys, PotBelly) and doesn’t require multiple purchases.

My app shows a $5 off 5 guys, but other restaurants have no offers. One Restaurant shows a $3 offer. I decided to try today at 5 guys and was super confused when that $5 offer turned into a $15 credit on my order.
