Chase Offers Are Returning! Get Ready for Super Easy Extra Savings!

Signing up for credit cards through partner links earns us a commission. Terms apply to the offers listed on this page. Here’s our full advertising policy: How we make money.

Update: One or more card offers in this post are no longer available. Check our Hot Deals for the latest offers.

Chase cardholders have more reasons to love their cards because it looks like Chase will soon be bringing back Chase Offers this month!

Chase offers work like AMEX Offers, except instead of needing an American Express credit card to take advantage of the savings, you’ll be able to get the deals with personal Chase cards, like the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card – our #1 credit card for folks new to using miles instead of money for travel!

But we’re not sure if Chase small business cards, like the Ink Business Preferred Credit Card, will qualify or not.  Although, in the past, certain business cards were eligible.

New Chase Offers Will Be Based on Your Spending Habits

Here’s What We Know About Chase Offers

When Will Chase Offers Become Available?

Chase cardholders should start seeing these offers between November 11 and November 19, 2018.

Which Chase Cards Will Benefit From Chase Offers?

It looks like Chase’s consumer debit and credit cards will be eligible for these offers.  This means we should see it on all of Chase’s primary credit cards.

In fact, it almost sounds like this could be account-wide because these will be in the Chase Mobile App and it is possible to use debit cards too.  It’s possible that any Chase card could work, but we don’t know for certain.

How Do You Find Chase Offers?

It looks like these offers can be found in 3 locations:

  • Targeted offers sent to your email
  • Chase Mobile App
  • Chase Pay App

It’s not clear whether or not these offers will be available online, but Chase is really pushing the use of their apps right now.  So it might be that you’ll only be able to find them there.

I was talking with a Chase banker a few weeks ago who told me they have been told to demonstrate to customers how to use the app and to help them install it if they don’t have it installed already.  So this might be something they use the app to distribute.  Chase is also pushing Chase Pay very hard right now (which can be set up in the app).

You will need to activate the Chase Offer BEFORE you make the purchase.

What Kinds of Offers Should We Expect?

It looks like Chase Offers will be targeted based on spending habits.  If this is true, it would be a huge leap from what we see from AMEX Offers.

So if Chase can send offers that are targeted to shopping habits you already have, then this could be hugely beneficial to cardholders and an improvement over what we see from other banks.

Are Chase Offers Going to Earn Cash Back or Rewards Points?

As of now, it seems that you’ll be earning statement credits.  So if you earn 5% back from shopping at Lowe’s, you should see a credit equal to 5% of your purchase appear on your account within 7 to 14 days.

You probably won’t be earning extra Chase Ultimate Rewards points.  But here’s to hoping we will!
