Good news for folks who have the Chase Hyatt card!
Via View From the Wing, you can get $50 back when you spend $500+ with your Chase Hyatt card at Hyatt Regency hotels in the US through December 31, 2016. But you must register for the promotion by October 31, 2016.
Saving $50 is nice, and taking advantage of this deal certainly makes sense for folks who already have a paid stay planned at a US Hyatt Regency hotel. But you can likely save more using points for award nights or by finding a less expensive hotel.
So do the math to make sure you’re getting the best deal!
Because this promotion could make sense for some, I’ll show you how to register. And help you decide whether it’s worth it for you!
Here’s the Deal!

With this new promotion, folks with the Chase Hyatt card can get a $50 statement credit after spending $500+ at Hyatt Regency hotels in the US through December 31, 2016. Be sure to register for the deal by October 31, 2016.
The good news is existing bookings will also count towards the promotion, as long as you register for the deal and pay for your stay with your Chase Hyatt card.
And anything charged to your room, like food or spa services, will count towards the minimum $500 spending requirement!
After spending $500+ (cumulatively) at any US Hyatt Regency hotel, you should see a statement credit within 6 to 8 weeks.
And don’t forget! Chase Hyatt cardholders can also get 10% back when redeeming points at ANY Hyatt hotel through October 31, 2016. If you registered for the promotion by August 31, 2016.
Is It Worth Switching Your Stay to Hyatt Regency?
This is a decent deal, especially if you already have a paid stay planned at a Hyatt Regency hotel in the US before the end of the year.
But I wouldn’t go out of my way to take advantage of it, because you still have to spend $500+ to get the $50 back. And you can likely save more by using Hyatt points for an award night. Or by finding a better-priced hotel.
But as always, I suggest doing the math to make sure you’re getting the best deal!
