If you’re always on the hunt for a big sign-up bonus, check your email (and snail mail)!  There’s a new offer to earn up to 65,000 Cathay Pacific miles with the Cathay Pacific Visa Signature® Card.

This is the best offer we’ve seen for this card, but it’s targeted.  Folks report seeing it in their email accounts or postal mail.

This offer is easily enough for a round-trip coach award flight between the US and Asia.  And enough to fly one-way in Cathay Pacific Business Class to Asia!  Considering these flights can cost $1,000s, that’s a great deal if you’re invited to apply.

Team Member Jasmin Treated Herself and Daughter to Cathay Pacific Business Class Seats – and You Can, Too With This Offer to Earn 65,000 Cathay Pacific Miles!

I’ll share the details!

Check If You Can Earn up to 65,000 Cathay Pacific Miles

Folks report seeing offers to earn up to 65,000 Cathay Pacific miles with the Cathay Pacific Visa Signature® Card in their mail.  If you’re interested, it’s worth seeing if you got an invite to apply!

The targeted offer says you can earn:

  • 35,000 Cathay Pacific miles after spending $2,500 within the first 90 days
  • Additional 30,000 Cathay Pacific miles and spending another $2,500 within the first 6 months

For $5,000 in total spending, you’d earn 65,000 Cathay Pacific miles, which is enough to fly round-trip in coach to Asia!

You’ll also get:

  • 2 Cathay Pacific miles per $1 spent on Cathay Pacific and in-flight purchases
  • 1.5 Cathay Pacific miles per $1 spent on dining
  • 1.5 Cathay Pacific miles per $1 spent on purchases outside of the US
  • 1 Cathay Pacific mile on all other purchases

There’s a $95 annual fee, and no foreign transaction fees.  The normal bonus is 25,000 Cathay Pacific miles, so this is a huge jump for those who were targeted!

How Can You Use Cathay Pacific Miles?

Link:   Cathay Pacific Award Chart

Cathay Pacific has a distance-based award chart.  So the number of miles you need depends on the length of the flight.

How Many Miles You Need Depends on the Flight Distance.  But There Are Some Gems in Here!

If you’re curious about a particular route, here’s an easy-to-use calculator.  You can even use it to check the price with their airline partners.

Cathay Pacific opens award seats for their own mileage members before they let airline partner members book them.  And we shared a first-hand experience of booking a complex itinerary with Cathay Pacific miles.

So this sign-up bonus could easily be enough for a round-trip trip to somewhere amazing for those that got it!

If you need more miles, remember you can top-up your account with direct 1:1 transfer from AMEX Membership Rewards and Citi ThankYou points.

You Can Still Fly Cathay Pacific With Other Miles

If you didn’t get this deal, fret not!  You can also fly Cathay Pacific with American Airlines miles or Alaska Airlines miles.

For example, you can earn 50,000 American Airlines miles after spending $2,500 in the first three months with the Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® World Elite™ Mastercard® right now.   That’ll get you started toward your own award trip adventure.  Here’s how team member Jasmin used American Airlines to treat her family to a Business Class trip, including on Cathay Pacific! The information for the Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select card has been collected independently by Million Mile Secrets. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.
