Today only — Earn up to 10x miles on Apple purchases
Signing up for credit cards through partner links earns us a commission. Terms apply to the offers listed on this page. Here’s our full advertising policy: How we make money.
A great way to earn bonus points/miles (besides using a rewards credit card) is to make purchases through an online shopping portal. You can use shopping portals to earn bonus miles or cash back and it’s a great way to potentially stack deals for even better discounts.
One retailer that rarely has big bonuses available through online portals is Apple, but today you can earn 8-10x bonus miles.
Earn bonus rewards on Apple Purchases
Today (Dec. 9th) you can earn bonus miles through these airline shopping portals:
The terms say that the bonus miles are only valid on “up to five units per eligible product,” except for the iPhone, which you can only earn bonus miles on up to two purchases. If you use a coupon or discount code it could invalidate the bonus miles you earn through the shopping portal, so be careful with those (unless they’re a better deal). Also, you will not earn bonus miles on the following purchases:
- 16-inch MacBook Pro
- AirPods Pro
- Gift cards
- Gift wrap
- Bose products
- Apple Developer Programs
Another advantage of airline shopping portals (compared to bank portals) is you can pay with any card. So you can use an airline credit card to earn more miles or a travel rewards card to diversify your earnings.
