  • You must book TODAY, June 12, 2017, between 5:01 pm and 8:59 pm Central Time
  • Use promotion code FLASHSALE
  • You can only use this promotion code for hotels (NOT flight and hotel packages)

If you miss this 18% off sale, Orbitz has a 15% off promotion that lasts through June 30, 2017, for travel by December 31, 2017.  It has similar terms & conditions, but a different promotion code:   JETSETTER.

Note:   The terms & conditions say that the promotion code does NOT apply to most major hotel chains.  And if you do find a valid hotel in a major chain, you will NOT earn elite night credits or hotel points, and your elite status will likely NOT be recognized.  So this is a deal that is best for folks staying in a hotel that doesn’t have a loyalty program.

Your savings will be instant after adding the promotion code.

And don’t forget to use credit cards that earn bonus points for travel, like the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card or Citi Prestige.  Because Orbitz purchases code as travel!

This email came at 5:45am on 6/13. While I know you’ve said that’s a problem, you probably just need to eliminate anything timely that is “day of” from your blog because unless we are on feedly or your site, we will never catch this. Just a recommendation 🙁
