Through April 7, 2018, JetBlue is giving veterans and their travel companions free round-trip airfare from Boston, Fort Lauderdale, and New York City (JFK) to New Orleans

I love to see airlines give back to the community, and I think this is a terrific way to honor our veterans!

Free Flights (And More!) for US Military Veterans

JetBlue is making it easier for US veterans and their travel companions to visit The National WWII Museum in New Orleans and the historic PT-305 boat through April 7, 2018.  JetBlue is giving veterans and 3 companions complimentary round-trip airfare to New Orleans from 3 of their hubs:

• Boston
• Fort Lauderdale
• New York City (JFK)

Veterans will also receive free museum admission.

To get these freebies, you’ll have to buy a ride aboard the PT-305, the worlds only fully restored combat-veteran PT boat in operation.

It will cost $305 for veterans, seniors, military, and children, and $175 for active duty military in uniform the day of the ride.  But WWII veterans will get the boat ride (and everything else!) for FREE!

Here’s what you need to know:

• Only 4 free round-trip tickets per party
• You must either call  877–813–3329 x 257 or email [email protected] to get your free flights
• You must prove you’re either an active-duty or retired US veteran when booking
• Hotels, ground transportation, meals, etc. are NOT included
• Availability is limited
• Travel companions must purchase a PT-305 passage to get this veteran promotion
• Children under 12 NOT eligible
• Fridays and Saturdays only

This is an excellent opportunity for veterans and their family and friends to head south for a history trip (and to a nice, warm climate!).  And because things like hotels and ground transportation aren’t included with this deal, remember that there are plenty of ways to get those things free with miles & points!
