1.   Hyatt Introduces New Member Rate

World of Hyatt members now have a new option when booking Hyatt hotels:   Member Rate Advanced.

Hyatt says you can save up to 15% with this new rate at all Hyatt hotels globally.  But you’ll have to prepay in full at least 14 days in advance.  Rooms are NOT refundable.

If you’re confident in your travel plans, this is a nice way to save a few bucks.

2.   Miraval Resort Promotion

For stays with a checkout date between June 1 and August 31, 2018, you’ll earn double Hyatt points at Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa.

And you can get a 50% rebate on award nights!  The points will be deposited into your account after your stay.  Award nights include a $175 resort credit per person, gourmet meals, snacks, and activities like fitness classes.

It normally costs 45,000 Hyatt points (single occupancy) for a standard room at Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa (ouch!).  But with this promotion, you’ll get 22,500 points back after your stay (45,000 points per night / 2).

You don’t have to register for these promotions.  You’ll automatically get these benefits after you check out between June 1 and August 31, 2018.

3.   Choice Hotel Points Sale

You’ll get up to a 40% bonus on purchased Choice hotel points through June 1, 2018.  This gives you the opportunity to purchase Choice points for as little as ~0.79 cents each.

To buy points and earn the bonus, you must purchase at least 5,000 Choice points at once.

We don’t generally recommend purchasing points unless you have a specific award stay in mind.  But it’s certainly possible to get more value from Choice points than 0.79 cents each!  Always do the math to ensure you’re getting the best deal.
