Is This a Good Deal?

Earning 10,000 Wyndham points for 1 stay is a jaw-dropping deal.  That’s because every Wyndham hotel (including 5-star resorts) costs just 15,000 Wyndham points per night.  So depending on how you redeem Wyndham points, 10,000 bonus points could be worth a LOT.

Depending on the amount of points you’re targeted for, this could be worth buying a hotel night at Wyndham just for the bonus points!  Wyndham hotels are usually pretty cheap, so this is an inexpensive way to pick up a bunch of points.

Team member Harlan was targeted for 10,000 points for staying 1 night.  He plans to combine this deal with the current Wyndham Masterpass promotion, which gives a bonus of 7,500 Wyndham points for each stay (up to 2 stays).  He found a cheap local Wyndham hotel selling for ~$55 per night.

If he stacks these 2 deals, he’ll earn 17,500 bonus Wyndham points for his ~$55 reservation.  That’s more than enough for a free night at any Wyndham hotel, like the TRYP Times Square, which can sometimes cost $500+ per night!

All Wyndham Hotels Cost 15,000 Points per Night, Including Expensive Ones Like the TRYP Times Square

The lowest targeted offer I’ve seen for this deal is 3,000 Wyndham points.  But you’ll still earn 10,500 Wyndham points if you combine it with the Wyndham Masterpass promotion.  If you have an upcoming paid hotel night, these promotions are definitely worth switching to Wyndham.

Bottom Line

Wyndham is giving targeted folks up to 10,000 Wyndham points for completing just a single night!  Sign-in to your Wyndham Rewards account to see if you’re targeted.

Wyndham points can be super valuable if you use them at high-end hotels.  That’s because every Wyndham hotel costs just 15,000 points per night!  If you’re targeted, I recommend switching at least 1 hotel night to Wyndham, and stacking this promotion with the current Wyndham Masterpass promotion.

Let me know if you find a cheap deal on a Wyndham hotel!

Darius, any reply to my question?

I went to my Wyndham Rewards, no points, account was closed. I using wyndham hotels system in all my travels for the last 6 years.
DOn;t rely on assuming that you have points.
I also use Best western, I checked on my points, I just checked and no points. I had 3 rooms, one for Aug 1st-14, another room for Aug 2-9 and another for Aug 2-10.
What am I doing wrong?

Thank you for the writeup. My wife and I just hit minimum spends on our Wyndham cards for 45k points each. Tonight we just signed up for the Wyndham Rewards site. No 3k or 10k offer. How long does it generally take to receive a targeted offer? Thanks!

I also wonder if we actually have to check in. Otherwise, why not just find a cheapo room somewhere in the rural U.S. and get credit for a stay.

Thanks for this stackable offer. I just booked a night in my town for mid Sept for under $60 prepaid and cannot cancel.
So do I really need to check in or can I just let it be charged and not check in?
