Did anyone receive their 1000 miles yet?

I remember getting an email a while back that I completed the questions and would get the miles. But I still haven’t got the miles yet.

thanks for the 1,000 AA miles heads up i got it…

You can use up to two AMEX cards per purchase on-line. Example, buy a $40 gift card and split between 2 cards. Word on other blogs is that gift cards are being reimbursed. Most are not getting prior confirmation e-mails from AMEX that you used your offer. Not a concern. The pending charge goes in as a photo purchase which is standard but gets corrected once the charge posts. The $40 split is good for gift cards that are only sold in higher amounts. You will pay 10% more for items if you are not a member, but you will NOT pay 10% more if you are buying gift cards. If all you want is gift cards and you are not a member, do not waste the $45 membership fee. Here’s another tip, did you know you can buy Sam’s club gift cards in exact amounts of $20 and use them at Walmart as well? Good for people who have lots of WM’s around and who either don’t have a SC around or aren’t members.

I purchased an item from Samsclub.com for $37.88 and I did not get the standard instant message from AmEx that usually reads “Congrats you just used your AmexOffers”.. hmmmm

For the Sams club deal you have to buy something online. If you try and buy something that is available in store, it will say pick up and pay for in store. That will not work for the offer. It has to be bought online. Bought 5 20$ gift cards with 5 separate cards. They ship to you free. Hopefully there isn’t small print about no gift cards.
