Ken and his wife Emily write about using points and miles (and saving money) on Disney trips at Mousehacking.com. So I’ve asked them to share their tips on booking Walt Disney World resorts with the Citi Prestige card to get the 4th night free benefit!
Ken and Emily: You can book Walt Disney World stays with Starwood points or Chase Ultimate Rewards points, but some folks choose to save their points for other trips and instead put their Disney stay on a credit card.
For the 3 stays we’ve booked at Walt Disney World in the past year, we’ve used the Citi Prestige. When you book a hotel stay of 4+ nights through the Citi Prestige Concierge, you’ll get a statement credit for the 4th night. However, starting July 23, 2017, the 4th night free credit will be based on the average nightly cost of your stay, excluding taxes.
This a great perk, and a terrific way to save money on Walt Disney World resort stays. We saved $1,165 on a split stay between Animal Kingdom Lodge and Beach Club on a recent trip to Disney from this benefit alone!

Let’s see how to book Walt Disney World resorts using the Citi Prestige 4th night free benefit.
Looking to earn the most cash back when you dine out?
There are lots of cards that include restaurants as a bonus spending category.
Keep in mind, some of the best cash back cards aren’t advertised as such. Instead, you might earn points, which you can then redeem for cash back or a statement credit.

Did you know Costco members can save money booking car rentals, vacation packages, and cruises?
The Costco Travel program can be a great option for folks who book paid travel instead of redeeming miles & points. Because you might save lots of money compared to booking through an online travel agency like Orbitz, Expedia, or Priceline.
For example, team members Jasmin and Harlan each booked week-long car rentals through Costco Travel and saved $100 off the prices shown on other sites. And you can potentially save much more or get extra perks with other travel packages!

Daraius: We’ve got a great team at Million Mile Secrets helping with posts. But I miss writing as much as I did in the old days! So here I am writing about stuff that I really care about. And which isn’t all miles-and-points related.
I felt very angry when I first saw David Dao being dragged out of a United plane, with blood streaming down his face. But below that anger, was sadness and disappointment. My throat choked, my body slumped down in the chair, and my eyes wanted to stop watching the video.
I’m Inspired by Mother Theresa to Be More Loving & Peaceful
For the last two years, I’ve been learning about Non-Violent Communication and Empathy through the amazing Austin Empathy Sangha. Why do I find it amazing? Because for the first time, I actually learned and practiced how to communicate my feelings and needs in a way that included being aware of someone else’s feelings and needs too!
So while I am not responsible for other’s feelings and needs, I can be responsive to them.
Did you know when you use the British Airways website to book with partner airlines, you will NOT automatically get all the information you need?
If you want to change your booking, (like choosing seats, special assistance requests, or meal choices), you’ll need each airline’s record locator. Fortunately, if you’ve booked an American Airlines flight through British Airways (which is the way most folks in the US use British Airways), finding your record locator is easy!
If You Have Your British Airways Booking Reference, You’re Just a Few Clicks Away From Your American Airlines Record Locator!
I’ll show you how to find your American Airlines record locator with your British Airways booking reference!
I recently let you know about the very profitable Hertz SAS promotion, as well as some disappointing new restrictions.
Now, via Frequent Miler, there are 2 more ways to earn bonus SAS miles! Both Avis and Best Western are giving bonus miles away. And one of these promotions can be even better than the current Hertz SAS promotion!

Last week I shared a rumor about new valuable US Bank card, the US Bank Altitude Reserve.
And now we have new details about the card! Some are a bit disappointing, but some are really exciting!
For example, the $325 annual travel credit is per cardmember year, NOT calendar year. So you won’t be able to get it twice before the second annual fee is due (like you can with the Chase Sapphire Reserve).
But getting approved for the card might be easier than we first thought! I’ll explain.

Here’s Million Mile Secrets team member Meghan to show you how she smartly and significantly profited from an AMEX Offer!
Meghan: Thanks Daraius! I used a recent AMEX offer to make ~$1,000 by reselling Xboxes I bought through Dell on eBay and Craigslist. It took some time and effort, but for me, it was worth it!
