The deal is good for stays at over 2,100 Marriott hotels as follows:

Bulgari Hotels and ResortsEDITION brand hotels, Marriott Executive ApartmentsRenaissance Hotels, and Ritz-Carlton hotels are excluded from the promotion.

To get the discount, book your stay online at Marriott.com, through Marriott’s app, or by calling the hotel or Marriott directly, using the promotional code “444.”  Bookings made through 3rd-party websites are NOT eligible.

If you aren’t already a Marriott Rewards member, it’s free and easy to sign-up.  Plus, you’ll earn Marriott points for your stay, that can be transferred to Starwood points at a 3:1 ratio.

And if you pay for your stay using a Marriott, Ritz-Carlton, and Starwood co-branded credit card, you’ll earn bonus points on those cards too!
