    I went to school in Chicago, and I love to go back to visit.  The Waldorf Astoria Chicago is ranked #1 in US city hotels by Conde Nast Traveler.

    It’s a Hilton category 10 hotel (their top tier)!  While in Chicago, you could visit Navy Pier or 1 of the many museums, like the Museum of Science and Industry.

    Emily and I had a wonderful stay at The Grand Wailea when we visited Maui a couple of years ago.  It’s truly a beautiful resort, with many pools, restaurants, and an excellent spa.

    While in Maui, you could consider trekking to the top of the Haleakala volcano, or driving the road to Hana, which is known for being a beautiful (but long) journey!

    If you like palm trees and the beach, but prefer a shorter flight, the Hilton Bentley Miami South Beach could be a good choice!  It’s right on the ocean and close to shopping and restaurants.

    While in Florida, don’t forget to sample some of the delicious local seafood!  Miami Beach is known for its vibrant nightlife (and great people watching!).

    The Conrad New York is located in lower Manhattan near the financial district, Wall Street, and the New York Stock Exchange.  Some folks say the rooms at the Conrad New York are nicer than other Hiltons in New York.

    If you don’t mind the subway, the location is OK.  But others might prefer the Hilton Times Square or Waldorf Astoria instead, because they’re closer to midtown Manhattan.

    The hotel is within a short subway or cab ride to many interesting neighborhoods, including Tribeca, Chinatown, and SoHo.   And it’s close to the 9/11 Memorial.

    Folks looking for an unforgettable ski vacation should consider using their weekend nights at the Waldorf Astoria Park City.  But it’s beautiful in the summer, too!

    How Do You Use the Hilton Weekend Night Certificates?

    You’ll earn the 2 weekend night certificates after you spend $2,500 in the 1st 4 months of opening your Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve account.

    You’ll get the certificates via email within 6 to 8 weeks of meeting the minimum spending requirement.  But to book a room, you have to call Hilton at 800-446-6677.

    And if you accidentally delete the email (or don’t receive it), don’t worry – the certificates should still show up in your Hilton account when you call them!

    There are so many options in the US to make the most of your 2 weekend night certificates from the Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve card.  By choosing otherwise expensive hotels, you’ll get the best value.
