    But for a limited time, you’ll also get a $100 statement credit when you spend $100 or more on your 1st stay at a Hilton hotel within the 1st 3 months of opening your account.  That’s a great deal!

    Located on a canal in the center of the city, the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam is close to museums, like the Anne Frank House, Rijksmuseum, and Van Gogh Museum.

    It’s a Hilton category 10 (top tier) hotel and normally costs 95,000 Hilton points per night.  I checked the price of a paid stay in August, and you’d pay 425 euros a night, or ~$458.

    So by using your 2 weekend night certificates, you’d get a 2-night stay valued at ~$916!

    Emily and I used Hilton points to stay at the Waldorf Astoria Rome Cavalieri when we traveled to Europe 2 years ago.  We were impressed with the decor and the excellent pool & spa.  Although it’s a bit far from the major tourist attractions!

    Another Hilton hotel in Italy Emily and I enjoyed was the Hilton Molino Stucky in Venice.  I know I said I’d limit it to 5 but I couldn’t resist!  It’s located right on the water (so you have to take a water taxi to get to the main part of Venice!).

    How Do You Use the Hilton Weekend Night Certificates?

    You’ll earn the 2 weekend night certificates after you spend $2,500 in the 1st 4 months of opening your Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve account.

    Hilton will email you the certificates within 6 to 8 weeks of meeting the minimum spending requirement.  But to book a room, you have to call Hilton at 800-446-6677.

    To Use Your Weekend Nights, You’ll Have to Call

    And if you accidentally delete the email (or don’t receive it), don’t worry – the certificates should still show up in your Hilton account when you call them!

    Note:   You’ll only get the $100 statement credit if you spend at least $100 on your 1st Hilton stay within 3 months of opening your account.

    There are plenty of ways to make the most of your 2 weekend night certificates from the Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve card.  And you’ll usually get a great value by using them at expensive European hotels!
