We are an independent publisher. Our reporters create honest, accurate, and objective content to help you make decisions. To support our work, we are paid for providing advertising services. Many, but not all, of the offers and clickable hyperlinks (such as a “Next” button) that appear on this site are from companies that compensate us. The compensation we receive and other factors, such as your location, may impact what ads and links appear on our site, and how, where, and in what order ads and links appear. While we strive to provide a wide range of offers, our site does not include information about every product or service that may be available to you. We strive to keep our information accurate and up-to-date, but some information may not be current. So, your actual offer terms from an advertiser may be different than the offer terms on this site. And the advertised offers may be subject to additional terms and conditions of the advertiser. All information is presented without any warranty or guarantee to you.

This page may include: credit card ads that we may be paid for (“advertiser listing”); and general information about credit card products (“editorial content”). Many, but not all, of the offers and clickable hyperlinks (such as a “Apply Now” button or “Learn More” button) that appear on this site are from companies that compensate us. When you click on that hyperlink or button, you may be directed to the credit card issuer’s website where you can review the terms and conditions for your selected offer. Each advertiser is responsible for the accuracy and availability of its ad offer details, but we attempt to verify those offer details. We have partnerships with advertisers such as Brex, Capital One, Chase, Citi, Wells Fargo and Discover. We also include editorial content to educate consumers about financial products and services. Some of that content may also contain ads, including links to advertisers’ sites, and we may be paid on those ads or links.

1.   New Fidelity 2% Cash Back Card Coming in 2016

Folks on Reddit discovered the AMEX Fidelity 2% cash back card is no longer available to new applicants.  And on January 4, 2016, they’ll release details of a brand new 2% cash back card.

It’s a Mystery for Now! Fidelity Will Announce a New 2% Cash Back Card on January 4, 2016. We Don’t Know Yet What Will Happen to Existing Cardholders

I’m not sure what this means for folks who already have the AMEX Fidelity card.  Through now, it’s been a great way to load AMEX Serve accounts online and earn cash back.

I hope this card has new perks to compete with other cash back cards like Citi Double Cash Card and Discover It.

I’ll update when I have more details!

Get a Good Deal on Your Coffee Break! Save $5 on a $15 Starbucks Gift Card Through Tomorrow, December 30, 2015, at Groupon

This is a great deal for folks who like Starbucks coffee, or for a belated Christmas gift.  Quantities are limited, so make your purchase soon!

Earn Bonus Miles or Points on Your Purchase!

Remember, you can start your shopping through a shopping portal to earn bonus miles or points!

According to Cashback Monitor, there are lots of portals offering miles, points, or cash back for purchases at Groupon.

You won’t earn a lot on $10, but it all adds up!  Plus, you’ll reset the clock for when your miles or points expire with many airline and hotel programs, so I always recommend clicking through a shopping portal if you can!

3.   More Changes Coming to Wyndham Rewards

Via Loyalty Traveler, Wyndham will introduce more changes to its loyalty program in 2016.  And, they appear to be good ones!

Wyndham Rewards Will Add New Benefits and Perks, and New Elite Status Tiers, in 2016

It looks like they might transition to a new points system.  And add new elite status levels.  They also promise a “first-of-its-kind perk we know you’ll love.”  Interesting!

Award Nights at Wyndham Cost 15,000 Wyndham Points, Even at All-Inclusives Like the Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach in the Bahamas!

Earlier this year, Wyndham changed its rewards program so award nights cost 15,000 Wyndham points at ANY Wyndham Hotel.  That includes hotels in expensive cities, and even some all-inclusive resorts!

I wrote about an offer to earn 45,000 Wyndham points with the Barclaycard Wyndham Rewards, which is good for 3 nights at any Wyndham Hotel.  That offer is still available, so now might be a good time to apply if you’re interested!

Emily and I don’t earn a commission on this card, but we always share the best deals with our readers!

As always, I’ll let you know more details about the upcoming changes when I have them!

4.   Save up to 50% on Purchased United Airlines Miles

Keep in mind you can only make a purchase in 1,000-mile increments.

This could be a good deal for folks who were planning to buy an expensive paid ticket anyway.  You might get a better deal buying miles and redeeming them for an award ticket!

That said, do the math and make sure the award ticket you want is available!

Again, be sure to make your purchase by December 30, 2015 (tomorrow!), to get this deal if you’re interested.

Let me know which deal today is your favorite!
