Exciting news!  Through November 9, 2016, the American Express Delta Business cards have increased sign-up bonuses!

You can earn 50,000 Delta miles with the Gold Delta SkyMiles® Business Credit Card and 70,000 Delta miles with the Platinum Delta SkyMiles® Business Credit Card after completing minimum spending requirements.

That’s the highest offer I’ve ever seen for the AMEX Platinum Delta small business card.  And the good news is, applying for either of these cards will NOT hurt your chances of being approved for Chase cards.

With the AMEX Platinum Delta Business Card’s 70,000 Mile Sign-Up Bonus, You’ll Have Enough Delta Miles to Fly One-Way to Rome in Business Class!

Normally you can earn 30,000 Delta miles with the AMEX Gold Delta Business card, and 35,000 Delta miles with the Platinum Delta business card.  So this is a very good deal!

With the best-ever offer on the AMEX Platinum Delta Business card and an increased sign-up bonus on the AMEX Gold Delta Business card, if you’ve been considering either of these cards, now is a great time to apply!

And because both of these cards are AMEX small business cards, applying for either card won’t impact your chances of being approved for valuable Chase cards later.

Remember, you can get this card if you have a small business, like selling on eBay, freelance design, or coaching.  You don’t need a big company or corporation to qualify!  Even new businesses can qualify as long as you’re aiming to make a profit.

For sole proprietorships, you can use your Social Security Number instead of an EIN (Employer Identification Number).

You’ll also have access to American Express OPEN discounts and AMEX Offers.  And you’ll get a subscription to ShopRunner, which offers free 2-day shipping from dozens of online stores.

Having Access to AMEX Offers Is Great, Because You Can Use the Money You Save Towards Your Next Getaway!

Just remember, American Express only allows folks to get the sign-up bonus ONCE per person, per lifetime on ALL their cards.  So if you’ve had any of these cards before, you won’t be eligible for the sign-up bonus again.

But if you already have the personal version of the card, you can still get the business card, because they’re considered different card products.

And if you aren’t immediately approved, you can call the AMEX reconsideration line.

Along with the sign-up bonus, you’ll earn:

The $195 annual fee is NOT waived for the first year.

Using Delta Miles for Award Tickets

Delta miles can sometimes be hard to use, and not having an award chart doesn’t make it easier!

But in my experience, as long as you can be flexible and book in advance, you can often find low-level award seats on many routes.

Low-Level Award Seats to Hawaii in Coach Are Only 45,000 Delta Miles Round-Trip. So You’ll Have Enough Points to Visit These Tropical Islands With Either of These Offers From AMEX!

You can also redeem Delta miles for award flights on SkyTeam airlines like KLM or Air France.  Or on non-alliance partners like Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines.

Get Easy $500 or $700 Off Delta Flights WITHOUT Searching for Award Seats

When you have the AMEX Gold Delta or Platinum Delta small business card, you can book flights using Delta’s Pay With Miles.

With Pay With Miles, you can redeem Delta miles at a rate of 1 cent per mile to pay for (or discount) the cost of Delta flights.  And you do NOT have to worry about blackout dates or searching for award seats!

The 50,000 mile bonus on the AMEX Gold Delta business card is worth $500 (50,000 miles X 1 cent per mile) off Delta flights, and the 70,000 mile sign-up bonus from the AMEX Platinum Delta business card is worth $700 (70,000 miles X 1 cent per mile).

“Pay With Miles” Can Come in Handy During Busy Holiday Travel Times. And the Sign-Up Bonus From the AMEX Platinum Delta Business Card Is Enough for a Round-Trip Ticket Between Los Angeles and Chicago Over Thanksgiving Week!

However, only primary cardholders can use Pay With Miles, NOT authorized users.

And to use Pay With Miles, you must book on Delta’s website.  Only Delta and Delta connection operated flights are eligible (not partner flights).

You can redeem for paid flights in 5,000 mile ($50) increments.  And you’ll earn miles for your trip!

Note:   Your AMEX Delta card must be linked to the same frequent flyer number for Pay With Miles to appear as a booking option.

Bottom Line

Through November 9, 2016, there are increased sign-up bonuses on the AMEX Gold Delta Business and AMEX Platinum Delta Business cards.

You’ll earn 50,000 Delta miles after meeting minimum spending requirements with the AMEX Gold Delta Business card.  And 70,000 Delta miles with the AMEX Platinum Delta Business card.

That’s a very good deal for both of these cards.  Especially because it’s double the usual sign-up bonus for the AMEX Platinum Delta Business card!

While the annual fee is waived for the first year on the AMEX Gold Delta small business card, it is NOT waived for the Platinum version.

But you can use the sign-up bonuses from both cards for things like up to $700 off Delta flights using Pay With Miles, 1 round-trip coach ticket to Hawaii, a one-way Business Class seat to Europe, and more!
