Emily: After two nights in the suite, we had to move to an Ocean Front room (in the center atrium building) because the Ocean Suite was no longer available. This was not such a bad thing because the views were even better from this room and we were very close to the Regency Club Lounge, which was only a few floors above us in the same tower. Hyatt Regency Maui Ocean Front Room
This made it very convenient when we went for breakfast and to use the business center for printing.
Emily: I was pleasantly surprised by how much space there was.But I sure did miss having a separate sleeping area, especially since Daraius still wasn’t feeling well.
But I can’t complain, because like in the suite, the bed in the Hyatt Regency, Maui Ocean Front room faced the ocean. I think I can get used to waking up every morning looking at the ocean from my bed!
The bed was very comfortable.
There was also an iPhone charger, but it stopped working soon after we arrived.
The furniture here seemed to be a bit newer and more modern. The couch was also a sleeper sofa with a pull out bed, making this room a good one for families.
There was a large flat screen TV.
We also had a patio.
There was an even better view from the patio of the Ocean Front room, than from the Ocean Suite!
I can’t get over this gorgeous view. I could be convinced to move here…
Finally, there was a bathroom that was pretty spacious.
It looked new and the woodwork made it very warm.
The amenities were the Spa Moana brand and smelled very tropical. The sizes were the same as what we received in the suite.
We noticed that we got large sized amenity bottles to last our entire stay, since they weren’t replenished daily.
The shower was average.
A large free standing bathroom cabinet was by the door.
There was another walk-in closet, though it was a bit smaller than the one in the suite. I loved being able to hide our suitcases away.
