One of the top business credit cards has a brand massive bonus. The Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card you can earn 100,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points after spending $15,000 in the first three months of opening the account. This card was already the best way to earn Chase Ultimate Rewards points when it had an 80,000-point bonus, but now it has the most valuable intro offer of any travel credit card

Apply for the Chase Ink Business Preferred card here.

You will need to be able to qualify for a business card and be under the Chase 5/24 limit in order to get approved. But all sorts of side gigs and independent contractor work can make you eligible. If you’d like a hand with applying, check out our step-by-step guide to Chase business card applications.

Chase Ink Preferred current offer

With the Chase Ink Business Preferred your Chase points are worth 1.25 cents each toward travel booked through the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal. That makes this bonus worth $1,250 in travel. But you can easily get more value when you take advantage of the Chase transfer partners.

For example, you can book Delta business-class to Europe for only 50,000 Virgin Atlantic miles each way. So this bonus is enough for a round-trip business-class award that could easily cost thousands. Obviously, we don’t recommending flying any time soon, but right now you should be able to find plenty of award space for the summer and fall.

Personally, I love to use Chase points to book top-tier hotels with Hyatt which cost 30,000-40,000 points and are generally an absolute steal at that price.

Spending with this card will earn Chase points as follows:

The Ink Business Preferred’s benefits include primary rental car insurance (when renting for business purposes), trip interruption coverage and lost luggage insurance. You’ll also get cell phone protection when you pay for your cell phone bill with your card. The coverage will reimburse you up to $1,000 per claim (up to three times per year) for lost or damaged phones, but there is a $100 deductible. Between the benefits and points you can earn the Chase Ink Business Preferred can easily be worth it’s $95 annual fee.

Aside from being a business card, the biggest hurdle that many will need to clear in order to qualify is that it’s a Chase credit card. So you’ll need to be under the Chase 5/24 rule, which means you’ll need to have opened five or fewer cards from any bank in the past 24 months. However, business credit cards (from most banks) won’t add to your count because they don’t appear on your personal credit report, that includes Chase business cards. So while this card is restricted by the 5/24 rule, it won’t add to your count. That means if you’re sitting at 4/24 and apply for this card you’ll still be eligible to open other Chase rewards credit cards later on.

Finally, if you think you may have trouble meeting the higher minimum spending requirements, we have a guide for creative ways to meet minimum spending requirements — think paying your taxes, car payments and more.
