You can get a $100 Amazon digital gift card when you spend $500 in purchases with the Discover It card within the 1st 3 months of opening your account. But this offer is NOT available on the Discover home page.
Emily and I don’t earn a commission for this card but because of the mother-in-law rule, we always tell you about the best offers!
Discover It $100 Amazon Digital Card Sign-Up Bonus
Link: Discover It $100 Amazon Digital Gift Card Sign-Up Bonus
You can get a $100 Amazon digital gift card after spending $500 in purchases in the 1st 3 months of account opening your Discover It card.
Note: This offer is only for new cardholders. Discover It is a cash back card that gives you 1% back on all purchases and 5% back (up to $1,500 in purchases) on rotating categories every 3 months (registration required) which is similar to the Chase Freedom card. So you can get up to $75 back each quarter! For example, you’ll earn 5% back on gas and ground transportation through March 31, 2015.
But unlike the Chase Freedom, it’s 1 of a few no annual fee cards without foreign transaction fees! (Capital One no annual fee cards also have no foreign transaction fees.) However, Discover isn’t as accepted at nearly as many places as Visa and MasterCard.
Usually I prefer to collect miles & points, especially from cards with big sign-up bonuses worth much more than a $100 gift card to Amazon.
But for folks who like the flexibility and ease of cash back, the Discover it Cash Back card is 1 to consider. Especially for those 5% bonus categories!
Bottom Line
You can get a $100 Amazon digital gift card from the Discover It card after spending $500 in purchases within the 1st 3 months of opening your account.
But this offer is only for new cardholders.
The Discover It is a cash back card similar to the Chase Freedom that gives you 1% back on all purchases and 5% back on rotating categories every 3 months when you register.
And it’s a no annual fee card with NO foreign transaction fees!
But Discover isn’t accepted as widely as Visa and MasterCard. So some folks like to use their Chase Sapphire Preferred or Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite Mastercard outside the US.
