We asked you to tell us what your favorite airline miles are and why. And we received a lots of great responses! The giveaway is now closed. But here’s a list of Million Mile Secrets readers’ favorite types of airline miles. 😉
1. Southwest
Lots of y’all expressed your love for Southwest. Especially because of their generous refund policy!
Readers like that if the cost of a Southwest flight goes down, you can cancel and re-book at the lower price…for free! And because you cancel non-refundable tickets (Wanna Get Away fares) without a fee, as long as you cancel at least 10 minutes prior to departure. Plus, the value of the ticket can be used towards another flight within 1 year of the original ticket’s date of issue.
Plus, Southwest offers the best deal in travel, the Southwest Companion Pass, which Rich and Kristy like to use!
2. JetBlue
As for JetBlue, Million Mile Secrets readers Tristan and Tim like their roomy Mint Business Class seats.
And Kenneth likes that the price of a JetBlue award ticket is based on the cash price of the ticket. Because he can use fewer miles for flights when JetBlue’s prices go down.

And readers Lily and Jeanne like using United Airlines miles for international flights, like flying Lufthansa between San Francisco and Germany.
