What Can You Do With 50,000 Hawaiian Airlines Miles?
You can redeem 50,000 Hawaiian Airlines miles for:
- A round-trip coach award flight from North America to Hawaii
- Inter-island flights for 7,500 Hawaiian Airlines miles each way
- 75,000 Hilton points
You can also redeem Hawaiian Airlines miles for an award seat on partner airlines like JetBlue or Virgin America. But you’ll get the best deal when you use Hawaiian Airlines miles for flights on Hawaiian Airlines.
From Hawaii, you can also fly one-way in coach to Australia, New Zealand, or Asia (including China, Japan, and Korea) for 40,000 Hawaiian Airlines miles.
Remember, folks on the West Coast pay fewer miles to Hawaii with British Airways Avios points.
How to Find the Offer
It takes a few steps to find the card offer. Here’s how!
To begin, go the Hawaiian Airlines website. Under the “Flights” tab, enter any route. And any dates you want. Click “Search Flights.”
On the next page, enter your details and click “Continue” until you reach the final payment screen.
Once you get there, select “Credit/Debit Card” for the payment method. Don’t worry, you will NOT be charged.
Then, you should see the offer on the same page.
Should You Apply for This Deal?
This offer is more than the usual sign-up bonus of 35,000 Hawaiian Airlines miles. And it’s the highest I’ve seen for this card.
That said, most folks can do better with other cards, especially if you’re new to miles and points. And I recommend folks new to our hobby apply for Chase cards first because of their tighter application rules.
But it could be worth it if you want to visit Hawaii. Or if you collect Hawaiian Airlines miles.
With Barclaycard, it typically takes a few days to receive the sign-up bonus after you complete the minimum spending. But you may have to wait until after your statement closes.
If you’ve already had this card, Barclaycard usually lets folks get the sign-up bonus on their cards more than once. However, I would wait at least 6 months before applying again.
Remember, Barclaycard typically only approves folks for 1 or 2 of their cards per year. So choose your applications wisely!
And if you recently applied for the Barclaycard Hawaiian Airlines card with the lower offer, it never hurts to ask if they will match the current offer!
