One of the best uses of Hyatt points is to the regular price for a hotel room, but to use only 6,000 Hyatt points to upgrade to a suite. We paid $180 per night, but were upgraded to a suite which sells for ~$364 per night, so not the most expensive suite, but still very comfortable!

There were shiny marble floors and fresh flowers in the lobby. The concierge and flower shop were also in the lobby.

The flowers smelled so good and looked so pretty!

There was also a large wing full of expensive handicraft shops.

We took the elevator up to our rooms.

There was a small table with fresh flowers to welcome you into the room.

The suites were very modern and had a separate living area.

There was a desk…

There were magazines and lots of newspapers, which was a nice touch since Daraius and I love to read the local papers.

There was a coffeemaker and tea.

The minibar had more goodies, including snacks and liquor, but at hotel minibar prices!

There was a large bathroom with double sinks.

There was also an enclosed shower and a separate bathtub.

There were even bath salts for a nice relaxing bath!

The amenities were larger than the usual sizes.

There was a large selection of amenities (one of the nicest I’ve seen), including shower caps and sewing kits.

There was even mouthwash!

The bathroom was large and luxurious.

It had a separate toilet and sink, which was nice for guests.

There was lots of room to store our luggage.

There were even shoe trees (another nice touch!).

I appreciated the attention to detail of the room. There were even two sets of slippers, where some hotels only leave one pair.

Lastly, there was a bedroom…

The wall by the bed nightstand had light controls. This was very convenient to turn everything off all at once, without even getting out of bed!

Daraius amazed my mom & Judi with the hotel selections—the Hyatt Regency in Delhi was nothing short of luxury and a great way to end our holiday in India!
