On our last day in Macau we went for breakfast, packed our belongings, and went to take a few last pictures around the hotel. Then we took the free shuttle bus to the ferry terminal. The ride was ~15 minutes and we arrived at 11:45 am for our 12:15 pm ferry.
We were worried that we would miss our ferry! We took the elevators upstairs and checked-in our bags. The ferry terminal is a lot like an airport and I appreciated how smoothly everything went!

We walked to our gate and arrived by 12:00 pm. There were no security hassles! But we had to wait 10 to 15 minutes because passengers from our boat were still unloading. We boarded the ferry and sat in our assigned seats.
The TurboJet ferry costs ~148 Hong Kong dollars (slightly more on weekends & holidays) or ~$20 per person. It took 1 hour to reach Hong Kong. We arrived in Hong Kong, collected our bags, and took a taxi to our hotel.

We were impressed that the taxi driver fit our 7 pieces of luggage (4 large and 3 small bags) in the 4 door car, along with all 4 of us. It only cost 55 Hong Kong dollars or ~$7 for all 4 of us and the bags from the Hong Kong island ferry terminal to the Conrad Hong Kong!

The Conrad was only a ~ 10 minute drive from the ferry terminal.

King Executive Peak View Room
We are Hilton Diamond members so our room was upgraded to a room on the Executive floor. That way, we’d be close to the lounge for breakfast and evening snacks.
You get free internet and breakfast as a Hilton Gold member. And you can easily get Hilton Gold status with the Citi Hilton Reserve card.
We checked-in at the Executive Lounge and were escorted to our rooms. We got a King Executive Peak View Room which sells for about ~5,000 Hong Kong Dollars or ~$644 per night!
It was a small room! There was a king size bed…

We had a mountain view.

The bed was very comfortable.

There was a small sitting area.

In addition, there was a desk and TV.

The desk was fairly large.

There were a couple of outlets nearby for charging your electronics.

We did not get a harbor view room, but instead received a mountain view room. It was still pretty and given the limited daylight time we spend in a hotel room, it didn’t really matter.

We received fresh fruit.

There was ample storage, with a safe…

And a full closet.

Across from the closet was the minibar, with alcohol, a coffeemaker, a hot water heater, ice bucket, and complimentary water.
We only received 2 bottles of water each day, so we took additional bottles of water from the lounge. We also bought juice from the supermarket and kept that in the mini-fridge.

The bathroom was nice, but a bit on the small side.

There were double sinks.

There was a walk-in shower.

And a bathtub…

We received Aromatherapy amenities.

Underneath the sinks was a scale, an exercise machine, and a laundry basket.

The rooms were much smaller than in Macau, and the hotel seemed older. But it was still a nice room and we knew we would enjoy our stay here. The service was good, but not as great as the Grand Hyatt in Macau.

Executive Lounge, Conrad Hong Kong
There was a lounge at the Conrad in Hong Kong, but it was small and had a limited food selection.

There was a TV and coffee table books to read…

There was, however, a beautiful view of the harbor and Kowloon.

The hotel is located in the Pacific Place complex.

The hotel is also connected to MTR (subway) Station which means that it is very easy to get around.

Bottom LineWe enjoyed our stay at the Conrad Hong Kong. We did think the Grand Hyatt in Macau had much better service. However, the hotel is in a convenient location with easy access to public transportation and shopping.
Getting around town to see the sights and learn about different cultures is what travel is all about to us. So we would definitely stay at the Conrad Hong Kong again.
