I made a last-minute trip to Australia to surprise my mom on her 60th birthday where she was visiting my sister.  And I planned this trip literally 3 days before I left.

We had a lovely stay at the Park Hyatt Sydney, ate incredible food, toured the Sydney Opera House, and enjoyed the friendly Aussie hospitality!

Located Near the Sydney Harbor Bridge, the Park Hyatt Sydney Has Terrific Harbor and City Views

Part 5 – Sydney Opera House Tour

Part 6 – United Airlines Global First Review

I used 30,000 Hyatt points per night to book a City Harbor King room for 2 nights at the Park Hyatt Sydney.  These rooms usually sell for ~$750+ a night.

(You can earn Hyatt points from their credit card.  Or by transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards points.)

One side of the room faces the city.

Despite Being a City View Room, I Liked That You Still Overlooked the Water

But the other faces the harbor and you get a pretty good view of the Sydney Opera House from the room.  I forgot to get a picture.  Sorry.

The bathroom was very luxurious.

I Liked the Clean Design and Subtle Lighting – and of Course the Soaker Tub!

And the bathroom had those oscillating devices!

I remember the 1st time I experimented with 1 of these at a Hyatt.  😉

The Park Hyatt Sydney was a comfortable and elegant spot to use as our home base while we explored Sydney.

And it was perfectly located for our Sydney Opera House tour!

Australia is my next bucket list destination thank you for the post! Just curious why did you change rooms? I see that you used points for two nights and cash for two nights…

How much did you pay out of pocket for each night
