Round-trip flights to Frankfurt were slightly more at ~$468 from:

  • Cleveland

There are many dates available from September 2016 to April 2017 with cheap flights, but the sale won’t last long!

Oktoberfest takes place in Munich starting September 17, 2016.  You can book a cheap round-trip fare to Frankfurt and then take a ~4 hour train ride to Munich for ~$60.

Or consider booking a trip in late November or early December to visit Frankfurt’s Christmas market!

Remember, these flights are on American Airlines and you will NOT be eligible to earn loyalty miles based on distance traveled.  Instead, you’ll earn miles based on the price of the ticket.
